Accessing the Ford Tourneo Custom is simple, safe and designed around individual needs.
Choose from two rear platform lift options, an underfloor side lift, or the Nelhi rear ramp with lowering suspension for easy wheelchair access.
Wide-opening electric sliding side doors and the large rear tailgate provide excellent access, with each solution carefully integrated to retain the Tourneo Custom’s spacious, comfortable and refined interior.

Independence, Your Way
Once inside the vehicle, the powered six-way driver’s seat moves into the most suitable position, making it easier to transfer from the wheelchair into the original driver’s seat.
Access is available via a rear platform lift with an automatic tailgate or an underfloor side lift with an electric sliding door. Both systems can be operated using a compact remote-control key fob.

Now available from Lewis Reed, the new upfront wheelchair passenger position allows the wheelchair user to travel alongside the driver, creating a more inclusive and sociable journey with excellent forward visibility.
Flexible seating makes it easy to adapt the interior for different passengers and journeys. A transfer-to-drive option with a powered six-way seat is also available, and every conversion can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
Greater Access with the New Nelhi Ramp
This makes it particularly suitable for larger wheelchairs and passengers who need additional space when entering and leaving the vehicle. The ramp has a 350kg capacity, providing a strong and practical access solution.
Once inside, the wheelchair passenger can travel comfortably in row 1,2 or row 3, with flexible seating tailored around individual needs. A reinforced, insulated floor finished with luxury carpet and additional sound deadening creates a refined and comfortable travelling environment.

Expected in mid-2027, the Ford Tourneo Custom Grande will feature a beautifully integrated raised roof, providing an internal height of 58 inches and a wonderfully open, spacious interior.
